Description
No. 78 Bermondsey Street is a late 17th-century house that is part of a terrace. The ground floor is currently used as offices. The building features a brick and wood structure with a stucco front that is incised to resemble ashlar. It has an overhanging, weatherboarded top floor with windows and stands four storeys tall with irregular bays. The ground floor has a timber shop front that was altered in the 20th century. On the first floor, there is a single, central timber oriel window with an entablature and pediment. The second floor features two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
