GV II

Malt store. c1825-30, altered C20. Stock brick in Flemish bond with stone parapet and slate roof. 3 storeys and 4 windows. Cambered windows to west. East front has irregular fenestration, mainly cambered windows with 1 blank to 2nd-floor left and pivoting window below. Ground floor has later C19 pivoting casement and ground floor has 3 round-headed arches and round-headed doorcase. Iron crane attached to left side, wooden lucarne and C20 bridge and external steps. INTERIOR: north part has 2 filled-in round-headed arches and iron girders. South side has stone-flagged floor and 2 cast-iron columns supporting wooden tie beam. 1st floor has 3 round-headed arches. Both 1st and 2nd floors have wooden supports. Queen post roof.
