Description

A pair of semi-detached houses dating from the early to mid-19th century, located on the north side of Kennington Park Place in Southwark. The houses are built of stock brick with a brick parapet featuring an inscribed pediment. They are three storeys high with a basement, and have a three-bay wide facade, although the central windows are blind. Lower, set-back entrance extensions are positioned on either side. The right-hand entrance door is distinguished by a dentil cornice head, a fanlight, and a panelled frieze, with fluted pilaster jambs and impost bands. Ground floor windows are round-headed with a stucco band at the spring, while the other windows are square-headed and have flat, gauged-brick arches. All windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The interior of the properties was not inspected.
