Description
A row of nine houses built around 1838 in Southwark. The houses are constructed of stucco and have low-pitched slate roofs. They form a row of linked villas, each originally three bays wide, though numbers 6, 12, and 14 are set back slightly and have just one bay each. The houses have two storeys. Quoin pilasters are present, with a key pattern detail to the main blocks. A prostyle Ionic porch, featuring attached fluted three-quarter Tuscan columns and cornice heads, leads to the front doors, which have replaced fanlights. The sash windows have glazing bars; those on the ground floor of the main sections are round-headed with Gothic glazing bars, while the remaining windows are square-headed. The interior has not been inspected.
