Description
St Andrew's Vicarage is a Gothic-style building constructed in 1871 by James Books. It features three storeys and an attic, topped with a tiled roof. The exterior is made of uncoursed ragstone and is three main bays wide, with each bay having its own hipped gable. Original rainwater pipes are located between the bays. The windows are mullioned and transomed, displaying either cusped or square heads, with a three-light window above the central entrance that has a square head and quatrefoils above the transom. String courses above the ground and first floors rise to create stilted pointed arches over groups of windows. There are chimney stacks on both end walls, each with seven large cylindrical ashlar outlets, and two gabled dormers with bargeboards. The interior has not been seen.
