Description
No. 60 Burnt Ash Road is a house built around 1840-1850 in the Italianate style. It is constructed of stock brick and features a hipped slate roof with end chimney stacks made of cement. The house is two storeys high and has three windows. On the first floor, there are 12-pane sash windows with horns, while the ground floor has two cambered 12-pane sash windows set in reveals and a cambered entrance to the left. The central door-case includes a cornice, pilasters, and a rectangular four-panelled door. To the right, there is a flat-roofed extension made of stock brick, with the upper part renewed, which contains one sash window without glazing bars and a garage door. The house has a plinth, and the rear elevation is stuccoed.
