Description
The gate piers at Lee Public Library date from the 19th century and are located at the east and west of the walls surrounding the library. They are made of rusticated square stone and feature a key-patterned band as an architrave, with garlands in the frieze and a low pyramidal top. The wrought iron gates are modern additions. These gate piers, along with the library, Pentland House, and the surrounding walls, form a cohesive group of historical structures.
