Description
This is a row of early 19th-century houses, numbers 73 to 87, Dacre Park, London. The terrace comprises four linked pairs of houses. Each house has two storeys, an attic, and a basement, with a central block featuring a single window beneath a wide pediment. To one side of each house is a slightly recessed entrance link, also with a single window and a projecting cornice and blocking course. The roofs are moderately pitched and slate-covered. The houses are constructed from multicoloured stock brick with stucco frontages. Pilasters are present, single at the corners and paired on the central axis, supporting a modified entablature. A cill band runs along the first floor. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within moulded architraves; the windows in the tympanum are round-headed, flanking a blank round arch. Ionic porches, of a distyle in antis design, provide access to four-panel doors, some of which are partially glazed, and have side pilasters. Numbers 73 to 97 (odd) form a group.
