Description
The Hanover Arms Public House, located at 326 Kennington Park Road, is an early to mid-19th century building that also includes No 1 Hanover Gardens. It stands three storeys tall, featuring one bay on the main front and a rounded angle with two windows facing Hanover Gardens, which has a total of four bays, two of which belong to No 1 Hanover Gardens. The structure is made of stock brick and has a stucco frieze, cornice, and parapet. The windows are sash style, some with glazing bars, set in moulded architraves, with cornices above on the first floor. The ground floor has been altered in the early 20th century for use as a public house. The building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
