Description
No. 9 on Streatham Common South is an 18th-century building that has undergone some alterations. It stands two storeys high with an attic and basement, featuring three windows. The front is rendered and topped with a stone-coped parapet that has couchant lions at each end. The roof is a rounded gambrel style, covered with large slates, and includes a round-arched dormer and an off-centre stack. The building has sash windows with glazing bars; the ground floor windows are round-headed and have an impost band. There are three steps leading up to a six-panel door that has a cornice head and a patterned radial fanlight, flanked by modern side walls.
