Description

The former Holy Trinity Primary School (infants' annexe) and No 220, built in 1880, is a vernacular style building characterized by its irregular shape, being long and low. It is constructed of red brick with terra-cotta dressings and features sloped buttress bay divisions. The building has a very high pitched roof with deep, swept eaves and a returned gable end on the right side. There are also two tall gabled dormers that incorporate chimneys. A lower section on the left connects to the house at No 220, which includes a round turret topped with a conical roof. The windows are Gothic in style, featuring cusped pointed arches, and are arranged in pairs or groups with quatrefoil spandrels. The ground floor has small round-headed windows with two or three lights.
