Description

This is a terrace of houses located on Sydney Street in SW3, built in the early 19th century. The terrace presents a nearly symmetrical appearance. The buildings are constructed of brick and stucco, with the ground floor channelled. Each house extends over three storeys and has two windows. Most have square-headed windows and doors, except for the central five houses and the end houses at numbers 66 and 68. Individual cast iron balconies are present on the first floor of each house. Pilaster strips decorate the central and end houses (numbers 64, 66, 68, and 34-42), and a pediment adorns number 38. Remnants of the original cornices are still visible.
