Description
This is an iron lamp standard located at the west end of Chelsea Embankment Gardens, dating from 1874. It features an ornate twisted column design adorned with climbing figures and cornucopiae, all standing on a plain granite pedestal. The pedestal includes an inscription that commemorates the opening of Chelsea Embankment. The lamp standard was cast at Coalbrookdale.
