Description

Monmouth House, also known as The Duke’s House, is a pair of early 18th-century houses. It is three storeys high with dormers and has a two-window front. The houses are constructed of brown brick with a pantiled roof. Red brick segmental arches surround the sash windows, which retain their original glazing bars. The entrances are coupled and feature wooden Doric pilasters supporting an open, pedimented hood, which is held up by carved brackets. Area railings are present.
