Description

The Tomb of Sarah Smith, who died in 1835, is located in Kensal Green Cemetery. It was created by the mason J. Browne. The tomb features a column made of Carrara marble and Portland stone, with a fluted shaft and a palm capital. This capital supports a slab that has a tapering finial, all resting on a square pedestal. It is noted as one of the earliest memorials in the cemetery.
