Description

The monument to Frederick Albert Winsor, located in Kensal Green Cemetery, is an obelisk made of red and buff sandstone, Carrara marble, and granite, set on a pedestal. It features decorative elements such as inverted torches and a wreath, topped with a finial shaped like a flaming bowl adorned with lion mask decoration. The inscriptions on the monument include "At evening time it shall be light" (Zachariah 14:7) and "I am come, a light into the world" (John 12:46). The design is inspired by the heart monuments of the French royal family.
