Description

A terrace of houses dating to around 1840, designed by R Cantwell. The buildings are constructed of stucco and extend over three storeys, with an attic and basement. Each house has a two-window frontage. The ground floor is rusticated, and the windows have architraves. A decorative cornice runs along the top of the building. A prominent round tower is incorporated into the corner of number 170, set back above the attic level. The terrace forms part of the wider Royal Crescent development.
