Description
Nos 69 to 73 on Pont Street, built around 1885, are designed in a style referred to as 'Pont Street Dutch' by Sir Osbert Launcester. The buildings are constructed of red brick and rise four storeys high, with a basement and attic. Each house features a narrow facade and a prominent canted bay window that extends through the first, second, and third floors. There is a door in a porch accessed by stairs over an area well, and a balcony at the first-floor level. The roof includes dormers, each with uniquely shaped gables. Notably, No 73 has an oriel window at the corner on the first floor and its entrance is located on the return in Walton Street.
