Tomb of Walter Peart, train driver, and Henry Dean, his fireman. Both died in 1898. Carrara marble headstone with inset relief of a train, set over branches of bay and under a moulded hood. Monument restored and plaque renewed in 1994. Feigned railway tracks over coping above grave. History: erected by the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants in memory of Walter Peart, train driver and his fireman, Henry Dean, who died trying to save passengers on the Paddington-Windsor Express when their boiler exploded.
