Description

The Anne Harris Mausoleum, located in Kensal Green Cemetery, is a Grade II listed structure that dates back to the death of Anne Harris in 1869. This mausoleum is designed in an Egyptian style and constructed from pink and grey granite. It features a blocked door on the west side, which is flanked by tapering columns topped with bulbous capitals that support a cavetto lintel adorned with a winged solar disk. The mausoleum has battered walls that hold up a cavetto cornice, and there are pylon-shaped inscription panels on each side. The rear, or east end, includes a blind pylon doorcase with Egyptian-style bronze ventilation grilles positioned above it.
