Description
Nos 21 to 24 Alexander Square is a group of three-storey buildings with a basement, dating from around 1825 to 1830. They are part of South Terrace and share a consistent architectural style. The ground floor features rusticated stucco with arched entrances, while the upper floors have square-headed windows that retain their glazing bars. There are area railings in front of the properties. No 24, located on the corner, has three windows and one window return facing South Terrace. Notably, No 24 was the residence of architect George Godwin, commemorated by a plaque from the Greater London Council.
