Description

This is a lodge located to the south of the centre block on the south-west side of College Court at the Royal Hospital, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick and is one storey high, featuring four windows across its front, with the centre pair being blind. The lodge has sash windows with glazing bars, an eaves cornice, and a hipped slate roof that includes a pediment above a dormer. To the left, there is a triple arched screen that connects the lodge to an adjacent building, which it was apparently designed to match.
