Building To Centre Of South West Side Of College Court, Royal Hospital

This building is an outbuilding located at the center of the southwest side of College Court in the Royal Hospital, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of amber brick with red dressings, featuring Portland stone quoins and a door architrave. The structure is symmetrical, consisting of a central section that is three storeys high with a basement, three windows wide, and central entrances. The first floor has round-headed windows, while the other floors have square-headed windows, all fitted with sash windows and glazing bars. Above the central section, there is a pediment with a circular window. The wings of the building are each two storeys high with a basement and three windows wide. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, extending to the eaves, and there are cornices present. Additionally, early 19th-century area railings are found around the property.
