Description
A terrace of three houses built in 1847 by C. Bean, forming part of a larger unified scheme at 1-29 Kensington Gate. The houses are stucco-faced and extend over three storeys with basements. Number 1 has a return to Gloucester Road and features a round tower at the junction with a dome. Numbers 2 and 3 are treated as a symmetrical semi-detached pair. All three houses have rusticated ground floors, Ionic porticos, and a modillion cornice. Numbers 2 and 3 have square towers above the main structure. Balustrades are present on the porches and roof, along with cast iron area railings. The condition of the houses is unspoiled.
