No. 2 Palace Gate is a building designed by P C Hardwick for Sir John Millais in 1878. It is constructed of brick and stone, standing four storeys tall and featuring three windows across its façade. The building has a prominent two-storey porch supported by superimposed Doric and Ionic columns, and there is a two-storey studio wing extending to the north.
