Description
Numbers 383-387 (odd) are terraced houses, now mainly used as offices, built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of yellow brick set in Flemish bond, with stucco detailing and mansard roofs covered in slate. The buildings rise four storeys above a basement, with two windows on each floor. The basement and ground floor of number 385 are stuccoed.
The round-arched entrances to numbers 383 and 385 feature pilaster jambs with semi-circular mouldings and rosette stops, along with a cornice and fanlight. Number 385 has decorative glazing, while number 383 retains a panelled door of original design. The ground-floor windows are round-arched with gauged brick heads, and the upper windows are flat-arched with gauged brick heads. The sills of number 385 may have been lowered at the first floor, while those of number 387 are raised. Number 385 has original 6/6 sash windows on the first floor. Each house has dormers in the roof and chimney stacks on the party and end walls. The area railings are of a geometrical design.
