ISLINGTON CALEDONIAN ROAD (East side) No. 214

II Former public house. Mid-C19. Stucco, roof obscured by parapet. The main block of three storeys with a two-storey wing to north, two windows each to Caledonian Road and Copenhagen Street which are the principal facades, two windows to north wing. Ground-floor pub front consists of a flat-arched entrance with overlight to north end and a curved corner entrance, other original entrances now blocked, with broad and narrow windows between Corinthian pilasters, panelled plinth and fascia. The main block has chamfered quoins to corners above the ground floor, and on each face the first-floor windows have architrave and pediment on consoles, those to the second floor architrave and cornice on consoles; cornice and parapet, the centre of the parapet raised in the form of a pediment between consoles inscribed with sunk lettering 'THE MILFORD HAVEN'; north wing has quoins, first-floor windows with architrave and cornice on consoles; cornice and blocking course.
The interior has no surviving features of interest apart from a boarded dado and central cast-iron Corinthian column.
