Description
This is a drinking fountain and horse trough, dated 1886. It is made of granite and has a rectangular shape with a chamfered base supported by two granite supports. One end features an ogee-shaped granite gable with a semi-circular bowl attached. Below, there is a rectangular dog trough set between granite kerbs at ground level. The inscription reads 'Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association'.
