Description

These are a group of three mid-18th century terraced houses, located on Camden Passage. They date to around 1766, as indicated by a date on nearby properties (numbers 39-41). The houses are built of multi-coloured brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern, with the roof hidden behind a parapet. Each house has three storeys and two windows.

The entrances to numbers 33 and 35 are flat-arched, with overlights featuring decorative glazing to number 35. Later shop fronts occupy the ground floor; they are matching in design and appear to date from the early to mid-19th century. The shop fronts feature three-sided bays with polygonal Tuscan columns supporting fascias and cornices, but they are likely replacements. The upper windows are flat-arched, with red gauged brick detailing around the heads. The windows are 6/6 sashes, renewed in most locations; the first-floor windows of number 35 have lowered sills.
