Description

This is a circa 1790 terraced house located on Charlton Place in Islington. The house is constructed of yellow brick laid in a Flemish bond, with stucco detailing, and has a roof hidden behind a parapet. It is two storeys high and has a three-window facade, designed in a double-fronted style. The ground floor features banded rustication, and contains a round-arched entrance with reeded pilasters, a cornice, and a fanlight with decorative glazing. A later, broad, flat-arched window has been added to the left, and a carriage entrance to the right. The upper windows are flat-arched with gauged brick heads. The building has a parapet, and a side chimney stack.
