Description
41 and 42 Colebrooke Row are terraced houses built in 1774, developed by Richard Masefield. They are constructed of brown brick with dressings of gauged red brick and feature a clay roof. The buildings rise three storeys over a basement and have dormers in the attic, with three windows each. The round-arched entrance includes a doorcase with engaged Doric columns that support an entablature and open pediment, although this doorcase is likely a replacement for both houses. The fanlights above the doors have decorative glazing, particularly on number 42. All windows are flat-arched with gauged red brick heads, and there is a storey band above the ground floor, a parapet, and dormers in the mansard roof.
