Description
Numbers 19-25 (odd) are a row of terraced houses located on Charlton Place, built in 1790 as indicated by a plaque on the first floor of number 21. Developed by James Taylor, these houses are constructed of yellow brick in Flemish bond and feature a roof that is obscured by a parapet. The buildings rise three storeys over a basement, with each house having two windows. All openings are topped with gauged brick heads. The entrance is round-arched, complete with a cornice and fanlight, while numbers 21-25 have decorative glazing. The ground-floor windows are round-arched, and the upper windows are flat-arched. Numbers 23 and 25 retain original design sashes, with number 23 having a cast-iron area railing adorned with urn and spearhead finials. Stacks are present at the party walls.
