Description

This is an early 18th-century terraced house, later adapted for use as a shop. The exterior is faced with plaster over brick, and has a tile roof with an 18th-century brick stack at the rear. It is three storeys high, with a dormer window in the attic, and has a two-window front. The ground floor now features a 20th-century shop front. The first-floor windows are flat-arched and appear to be 20th-century additions, while the second-floor windows have a dripmould above them. A parapet tops the building, and a mansard roof with gabled dormers is present. Inside, there is a central winder staircase, and the front rooms on the first and second floors retain ogee-stopped chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, along with 18th-century panelled dados.
