Description
No. 37 Upper Street is a terraced house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early 18th century and has undergone alterations. The building is constructed of brick that is covered with plaster, while the rear wall features weatherboarding over a timber frame. The roof is made of tiles with some sections of corrugated material. The house stands three storeys high and has a two-window range. The ground floor has a late 20th-century shop front. The upper windows are segmental-arched with box frames that are set almost flush with the wall, and there is a parapet above. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
