Description
These are two late 18th or early 19th century terraced houses located on the north west side of St James's Walk in Islington. The houses are built of yellow brick laid in Flemish bond, and have mansard roofs covered in clay tiles. Each house has three storeys above a basement and features two windows. Number 22 has steps leading to a flat-arched entrance with an overlight, and a carriage entrance to the right. Number 24 has a round-arched entrance with a fanlight and steps leading up to it. All ground-floor and first-floor windows are flat-arched with gauged brick heads. The buildings have a parapet, and dormers are incorporated into the mansard roof. Stacks are located within the party walls.
