Description
Stapleton Hall is a substantial house dating from around the early 17th century, with later alterations including a facade from the early 19th century. It is timber-framed and stuccoed, with a steeply pitched plain tiled roof extending to a parapet. The house is two storeys high, with small bays. The entrance is almost centrally placed and features a projecting porch with solid sides and pilasters. It has square-headed windows with plate glass sashes. A barn stack is located to the left of the centre. The interior contains substantial chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, parts of the original roof structure, wide timber floorboards, and other original features.
