Description
The Church Hall of St Mark with St Anne is a church hall, likely built between 1853 and 1854, designed by Alexander Dick Gough. It is constructed from Kentish ragstone in random rubble, with Bath stone dressings and a slate roof. This single-storey gabled building is attached to the vestry of the church. The entrance, located to the right, features a flat arch and slightly projects under a hipped stone roof. The lintel is supported by engaged columns with roll mouldings on the capitals, and it is inscribed with 'ST MARK'S CHURCH ROOM'. To the left of the entrance is a flat-arched three-light window, and above it is another window with three lights, featuring stilted trefoiled arches. The building is included for its group value with the church.
