Description
Nos 1 to 10 Prospect Place in Tottenham are a group of five pairs of early 19th-century cottages. Each cottage is two storeys high and features one window, with low-pitched hipped slate roofs and entrances located on the side. The cottages have gauged flat brick arches above sash windows that include glazing bars, and the doors consist of six flat panels. Unfortunately, these cottages have undergone significant alterations in recent years. Most have been either stuccoed or pebbledashed, with four exceptions, including Nos 5 and 6, which have pedimented fronts. Among the altered cottages, two have had their brickwork painted. Additionally, most of the original windows have been replaced with casements, and several doors have been modernized or enclosed in porches of various designs.
