Description

The tomb of William Butterfield, located in Tottenham Cemetery, dates from around 1900 and was designed by the architect himself. It features a stone coffin-shaped structure topped with a sculpted cross. The inscription on the tomb was barely legible in 1994. William Butterfield was a significant Victorian church architect, known for his extensive rebuilding of All Hallow's parish church, which is adjacent to the cemetery.
