Description

The Vineyard is a house located on Hurlingham Road, dating from the early 17th century with alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, mostly rendered, and stands three storeys high, featuring three windows across the front. There are extensions that include a one-storey section with two windows on the left and a two-storey section with one window on the right. The building has a cornice and blocking course, with stucco bands between the floors. The window frames are mostly flush and consist of casements. A wood trellis porch leads to the central entrance. The original brick stacks are located on each end wall, with some detached shafts set diagonally. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is understood to include exposed beams, a staircase with turned balusters, and moulded panelling.
