Description
Claybrook House is an early 18th-century house located on New King's Road. It is constructed of red brick and features an old tile mansard roof. The building has three storeys, a basement, and dormers. The windows have gauged segmental arches and are near-flush framed. The entrance is located in the right-hand bay and is highlighted by a wooden door-case with fluted pilasters, a dentil cornice, and a patterned fanlight above a panelled door. Wrought iron railings surround the entrance. The interior is believed to include wood panelling, particularly in a first-floor room with columns. The staircase features turned balusters and carved ends to the treads.
