Description
Fulham House is a detached house built in the first half of the 18th century, likely with earlier cellars. It is constructed of amber brick, featuring some stone cills and keystones. The house stands three stories high and is five bays wide along Fulham High Street, with the central three bays set forward and the central bay further advanced. The entrance is round-headed and has a prominent stone keystone, though it has been converted to a window and is partly blocked. The windows are square-headed with gauged arches, and those in the central bay have brick architraves. Most windows are sashed with glazing bars. There are brick bands above the first floor and below the parapet, and the roof is a slate mansard. The front of the house is obscured by a mid-20th century building that adjoins it on the right side. Inside, there are some features including a staircase with wrought-iron work, possibly reset, and a fireplace on the ground floor, likely from the 18th century.
