Description

No. 218 and 220 High Street, located in Stoke Newington, are early 19th-century buildings that each stand three storeys tall and feature one window. They are constructed of stock brick and have a stucco frieze, cornice, and blocking course, along with a band at the first floor and a basement. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches set in stucco-lined reveals. A plaque on the first floor reads "MARKET PLACE." The ground floor has been altered with modern shops.
