Description
The Coach and Horses Public House is a mid-19th century, three-storey building located on the east side of Stoke Newington High Street. It features a stucco exterior with incised lines and is supported by pilasters adorned with wreaths in the frieze. The building has a cornice and a parapet that is raised in the center. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set within moulded architraves and feature console bracketed cornices on the first floor. The ground floor public house front has been altered, but the building contains an older core. The Coach and Horses is part of a group that includes Nos 173 to 190 (even), including No 188A.
