Description
The forecourt wall and railings to South Hackney Upper School, built around 1900, are made of red brick and feature a high plinth. The wall is punctuated by square piers topped with pedimented stone caps at regular intervals. Between these piers, the wall is lowered in deep scallops with stone coping, and the spaces are filled with wrought iron railings. In front of the central part of the building, there are simple wrought iron railings on a stone plinth. The walls extend along the eastern and western boundaries.
