Description
No. 2 Suffolk Lane is an 18th-century building with an altered south wing that may date from the late 17th century. It has three storeys plus a basement. The front is now covered in stucco and features a decorated band at the first floor level, which has six windows. The entrance is simple, with curved steps and a railing, and there is a parapet above. The south wing has two windows and a mansard storey. The return and rear of the building are made of red brick, which has been patched and heightened with yellow brick, and there are brick quoins at the southeast corner. The basement and ground storey are rendered and include warehouse doors below. The south side has four windows and a central 18th-century rainwater pipe and head. Inside, there are good 18th-century features.
