Description
No 113 on Cannon Street is a mid to late 19th-century corner building designed in an ornate classical style using Portland stone. It stands four storeys tall, with an additional curved mansard roof topped with copper. The façade features three windows and a long return along St Swithin's Lane. The ground floor is adorned with engaged Corinthian columns, which are also present in a smaller form at the first floor, framing a central three-light window and three similar windows on the return. At the second floor, there are bowed stone balconies at the center of each front. An entablature runs below the top storey, and there is an elaborate three-light stone dormer on the front. The building also includes elliptical roof lights and iron cresting along the ridge.
