Description

No. 65 Cornhill, built around 1870 by I'Anson, is a tall, narrow building designed in the Italian Gothic style. It stands five storeys high and features large pedimented domes on the roof storey. The exterior is made of pale pink brick, accented with bands of terracotta ornamentation. The first, second, and third storeys have triple windows with arched heads, while the fourth storey is distinguished by an arcade of six narrower windows. The building is topped with a corbelled parapet, although the original ground storey has been altered.
