Description
66 and 67 Cornhill, built in 1880 by T Chatfield Clarke, are designed in a modified Italian Renaissance style using Portland stone. The building originally has four storeys, with an additional attic featuring a mansard roof. It is four major bays wide, with windows arranged in groups of three, featuring transoms and attached colonnettes to the mullions. Each storey is defined by an order of paired columns, with enriched friezes at the first and second floor levels. The building is topped with a corbelled cornice. The ground storey windows and entrance have been altered, and there is a passageway under the western part that leads to Sun Court.
