Description

Nos 2 and 3 Philpot Lane, located in EC3, are early 18th-century buildings that have undergone significant alterations. They feature a narrow front that has been stuccoed and rises to five storeys with three windows. The stone doorway is corniced and includes carved brackets and panelled pilasters, although it has a modern fanlight. There is a plain railing leading to the stone steps. The north elevation is constructed of red brick with moulded dressings and a rebuilt parapet, while the west elevation is similar but has been altered and is now also stuccoed.
